The people at Cowboy Byte wrote this article to explain to those who just can't understand why people are saying the unemployment rates are going up and not down despite Obama saying the opposite.               It is really simple, the government is just NOT COUNTING ALL THOSE OUT OF WORK! The government arbitrarily removes people from the unemployment rolls who are not looking for work because they can't find it, the part-time folks who want full time employment, and those who have run out of their 99 weeks of unemployment compensation. In this way, decreasing the denominator of the equation increases the number of people working and therefore reduces the unemployment numbers while the same number of people are working month after month. No new jobs are created, but through manipulation of numbers and avoidance of counting the true number of people out of work, Obama and his den of liars triumphantly show a lowering of the unemployment figures. ...
