D.C.-Type Gun Control Could Come To Virginia

Recently, D.C. police uncovered “one box of Knight bullets for reloading” in a law abiding citizen's home raid because an estranged wife said the citizen threatened her which turned out to be false. $10,000 worth of damage was caused by the raid. These bullets were actually not for reloading,  but are used for an antique-replica muzzle-loading rifle. He now faces two year in prison for the ammunition that was “uncovered” in the raids on his home. While the citizen does not keep his guns with him in D.C.,  he is now treated as a criminal. Meanwhile, celebrities like NBC’s David Gregory get a free pass when they flout the law on national television. No prosecution was brought against Mr. Gregory based on the events associated with the December 23,  2012 broadcast because  "it would not serve the best interests of the people of the D.C."  It seems like these very same reasons could be used to exonerate the D.C. resident.  Folks,  you are watching what happens when

VIRGINIA'S FUTURE IS REALLY AT STAKE, NOVEMBER 5TH!

The state of Virginia has reversed its past conservative stance recently. What is disconcerting is Northern Virginia voters, mostly employed by the federal government, are determining all of Virginia's future. The rest of Virginia must be educated and get out and VOTE to counteract Northern Virginian's grasp on us. Ken Cuccinelli of the Republican Party, Terry McAuliffe of the Democrat Party, and Robert Sarvis are vying for the governorship. The difference between the three is huge. Cuccinelli, a Committed Conservative, endorsed by The Northern Virginia Technology Council and Ron Paul, is a true leader with well thought out plans on every level to rescue Virginia from socialism. McAuliffe, known for “enthusiastic embellishment” of facts ( Washington Post, 10/8/13 ), and being a “Huckster” ( his own autobiography ) and a Constant Campaigner with no governing experience, supports Obama's gun control, Obamacare, wealth redistribution, EPA re

Where Are America's Leaders??

“Thousands of people are signing up and saving money as we speak.” Spoken by Obama yesterday! Plain and simple truth:   YOU ARE LYING THROUGH YOUR TEETH! You see, he can say anything now, anything, and his sycophants will believe it.  Even when it is so obvious as this, they believe it. How do we stop it? Get the word out that as long as any Democrat is elected, this is the type of crap we will be hearing even after Obama is gone. Weak Americans have been infected by the lie and deceit bug for so long their belief system is diseased and irresponsive to truth. Our only hope is the election of Tea Party Conservatives all over the nation. Any young, vibrant, patriotic, and passionate conservative should think hard about running for office and hooking up with the likes of Cruz and Lee to drive this nation away from dismal and unproductive socialism to accepting the truth and a future direction to prosperity for this nation.  For all of those who think about runni

Ah, The Country Life

Despite all of the moronic actions being exposed of late, there still are times, at the end of the day, one marvels at life! Sunset out my backdoor!!

Sadly, This Is What Goes On In Washington

"Maybe it depends on what your definition of “clean” is. If “clean” means “bereft of any semblance of fiscal conservatism,” then yes, the shutdown-ending continuing resolution to raise the Federal debt ceiling is exactly the gift President Barack Obama was asking for when he and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) famously demanded that Congress pass a “clean” debt bill. Likewise,  if “clean” means “back-loaded with undisclosed pork spending that will only be made known once we’ve passed the bill and then read it,” then — praise Congress — they carried out the task admirably. Following the Obamacare strategy of ramming a bill through before each member has a chance to see what all it says, Congress gave deceased Senator Frank Lautenberg’s millionaire widow a $174,000 death benefit, a $3.1 million allocation to the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board, almost half a billion dollars in Department of Transportation money for roads destroyed by Colorado floodi
