IT IS A CRISIS ON THE BORDER!

Anyone who understands what is happening along our Southern Border knows that it IS an emergency and the fact that Congress does not understand this is baffling to most U.S. citizens. With 400,000+ illegals crossing the border every year, how can this not be an emergency!

With 2 to 4 million people from Venezuela crossing into Brazil and Columbia, they are now in line to cross into central America and add to the huge caravans threatening our Southern Border. People who do not want to immediately enforce border security need to tell us how they are going to protect the U.S. against the increased numbers who are "on the way."

We MUST act now because there is no question in my mind that the threat of the numbers doubling in the next 5 years is real! And at that time, my projection is that we will need to double the funds to protect our Southern border.

The reason is driven by the fact that our government has NOT done their job since the time of Clinton and such irrational performance by various administrations. These irrational actions basically tell the illegals that we don't care, and they are welcome to continue their assault on our Southern border, which they are doing Month after Month and Year after Year.

As for the ludicrous and despicable vote against Trump's Emergency E.O., I find our misguided and irrational 12 Republicans standing on shaky ground. A few feel that there is no crisis which is beyond stupidity. Other feel it is setting a precedent that future presidents can use to their advantage. This is poppycock. The next presidents will do what they want hopefully in the name of America's safety and interest, damn with precedent. This is an inexcusable excuse. The last bit of these Republicans believe that the House has the authority to delve out money  and too whom and no one else. However, where were they when Obama essentially gave away $150 B to Iran avoiding even mentioning it to Congress?

All of this was pure politics on the part of Democrats, and idiocy on the part of 12 Republicans.
