Gallup Says Americans Find ‘Government’ to be Biggest Problem, ‘Immigration’ Second Worst
The Democrats are itching to get power back in the House of Representatives and they already literally have hundreds of intrusive, autocratic, plans for government. But they should be worried about overreach as a new poll finds that Americans think “government” is the nation’s biggest problem.
Worse for the Democrats, Americans said that immigration is the second biggest problem the nation faces even as Democrats are hoping to erase our southern border and allow any and all disease-wracked, gang-banger into this country without any resistance at all.
The poll comes from the Gallup polling concern, CNSNews reported:
take our poll - story continues belowIn the survey, conducted by Gallup after the midterm elections, the polling firm asked Americans about the country’s top problems and then listed those issues that were “mentioned by at least 3% of respondents.”Nineteen percent of respondents cited “government” as the problem, making it the top issue of concern. In second place came “immigration,” cited by 16% of the respondents. However, when broken down politically, 29% of Republicans said immigration is a problem but only 7% of Democrats said the same.
Gallup went on:
“These data come from a Gallup Dec. 3-12 survey, conducted as a looming budget impasse between Republicans and Democrats threatened to shut down the government,” reported Gallup. “The government has commonly been cited in recent years as the most important problem facing the country, with the problem having received or been tied for the most mentions — 22 times in the last 24 months.”
Here is yet another thing that should cause any intelligent Democrat to take notice. The poll also found that only a tiny three percent said gun control was a problem America faces.
Three percent.
Yet, Democrats are streaming to Washington for the 2020 legislative session with a growing number of attacks on our Second Amendment. The Democrats want to put an end to our right to keep and bear arms. But if this poll is any indication, Americans don’t care much about the issue.
So, right there, the incoming Democrats are planning on doing three major things that run 100 percent against what the American people want. They want to enlarge government, they want to coddle illegal immigration, and they want to destroy the Second Amendment.
A sensible Democrat would look at these results and then pull back from their extreme, activist agenda.
But, no Democrat is a thinking creature. So, they will barrel ahead imagining that they have license to do whatever they want.
Let’s hope they get a slap in the face in 2020.
