For years I have been telling folks that the government wants people poor in order to keep control of them and have them dependent on them. This is especially true with democrats who give the impression they are for the "middle class" and "the family", words you will hear in just about any statement from a democrat spinning their deceit and propaganda. Just listen to them and you will hear those words over and over again. The more people the democrats can keep under their wing, the more governmental control they will have over the entire country. This has become more and more evident as the amount of people who pay nothing for the government services approaches 50%.
