To combat this modern danger, the administration will call for stronger homeland security and missile defenses that aim to “pursue threats to their source, so that jihadist terrorists are stopped before they ever reach our borders.” NOW, IF YOU HAVE OPPOSITION TO THESE STATEMENTS, THEN YOU HAVE FAILED TO UNDERSTAND THE THREATS THAT SEEK TO DESTROY AMERIC

Congressional Democrats might be confident about 2018,  but a poll shows  the American people think they don’t stand for anything but opposition to Donald Trump. A Washington Post-ABC News poll shows that a decisive majority of respondents – including 55 percent of independents – think that the Democratic Party only stands for one thing: opposing the president. Even 27 percent of Democrats agree that their party doesn’t stand for much else. But despite being perceived as having no definite opinions aside from “resisting” the president, that doesn’t mean the American people are opposed to returning liberals to power: the Democrats lead the generic ballot poll by 8.9 percent, according to the Real Clear Politics average. “ A new Quinnipiac University poll shows yet another perspective on the deep racial division in our country. According to the poll, 86 percent of blacks compared to 50 percent of whites say that President Trump does not "respect people of color as much as he respects white people." However, the partisan divide is even greater than the racial divide. Ninety-one percent of Democrats compared to 12 percent of Republicans agree with the statement that President Trump is racially biased against people of color.Bottom line: What we call a racial divide today is really a partisan divide . "Gun buyback programs are a waste of time. Why? Very simply because the people most likely to commit crimes with guns aren’t getting them legally anyway. So, with a buyback program, effectively what you are doing is giving criminals an incentive to steal a gun and, then, turn it in for profit. Easy money for them. Why wouldn’t they just do this over and over and over? So, buyback programs simply don’t keep guns off of the street. Unfortunately, some people simply do not understand this. For example, a gentleman in Buffalo, New York, has the idea that giving kids toy guns makes those kids want to have guns as adults. So, he has started a gun buyback program for toy guns. "House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland were two of many House  Democrats trying in vain to keep the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act from passing this week, and they  were willing to resort to outright lies in their effort to do so. Actually, that’s not quite right.  Pelosi surely  told  a few fibs on her way to arguing against the bill, but she saved her biggest whoppers for Twitter after  the House passed it 231 to 198. Nothing in the concealed carry bill would allow any of the named groups to start buying guns or even  having guns, which is already prohibited by law. Did you fight back, get into their face and express disdain for their actions? I doubt it. It's not in our nature, now, is it? Very few of us will face up to the bully. I did in junior high school and got beat up, but in high school, I did again and won. I was never bothered again by either even the guy who “whooped” me. You see, bullying is only successful through the intimidation that comes with it. Intimidation comes in all sorts of sizes. The bully could be bigger, taller, more aggressive, speak angrily with physical attributes or facial expressions and body language, all of them intimidating and menacing to many kids in schools. Millennials' Flawed Education As you probably know, there was a survey or poll or whatever you want to call these silly "questionnaires," verbal or not, that came to the conclusion that 47% of millennials would want to live with socialism or communism. Unfortunately, the survey folks didn't give them the definition of these terms and left it to them to use their indoctrinated brains to form their communal definitions. So, socialism probably translated to "being social" or "sharing on social media." Finance Committee Chairman Offers Tax Reform Amendments to Senate Proposal Late yesterday, November 14th, Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin G. Hatch released a Chairman’s modification to the Senate tax reform bill.
